- Assisting the consumer in identifying suitable generator/s for the procurement of power.
- Assisting the consumer in evaluating commercial viability of the proposed transaction.
- Assisting the consumer in drafting of contracts for purchase of energy from Generators and negotiating with the Generators on behalf of the Consumer with regards to terms and conditions of the Contracts, Commercials of the transactions, etc. or any other related issue, which may arise between the Generator and the Buyer/s, during the operation of the contract which may potentially affect the effective functioning of this agreement.
- Processing and filing of Applications, Documentation, Drafting of offers, Letters of Intent (LoIs) for submission to various authorities; which shall include such other forms applications/ agreements/ addendums as may be required to give effect to the terms of this agreement.
- In case the tariff of the Distribution Utility becomes lesser than the Solar Tariff, the same shall be renegotiated to arrive at mutually beneficial/agreed tariff. Coordinating with the generators in order to execute transaction procedures/ applications/agreements/addendums as may be required to give effect to the terms of this agreement.
- Assisting the consumer in the collection of Generation Credit Reports from the relevant Generation Circle and the subsequent submission of the same in the corresponding Consumer Circle.
- Coordinating with the DISCOM operating in the said Consumer Circle, in order to work out the consequent adjustment.
- SDES shall assist the consumer in arranging the power purchase invoices from the Generators.
- Assisting the consumer in contracting with alternative generators (as per applicable rules/ regulations/ notifications/ circulars etc.) for the electricity produced, in the event that the said Generator/s terminate/s or cancel/s the agreement with the Consumer; or default/s in performance of the contractual obligations, etc.
